Launched in 1994, Dalissime, Salvador Dali's third fragrance for women, is another long-awaited masterpiece. Created by Marc Buxton, Dalissime pays homage to the centennial birthday of Dali's beloved wife, Gala. Dalissime is a fruity floral fragrance, laced with a dash of Dali's off-the-wall imagination, for a fragrance with an intensely feminine, sensuous personality. |
Dalissime is subtly tinged with an appetizing touch of apricot. The top note blends apricot with peach, raspberry, red fruits, and davana for a heady first impression. The heart is delicate and transparent with litchi, lily, Bengal rose, and narcissus. At the base, sandalwood and tonka bean mix with the more sensuous tones of musk to add depth and substance.
The Dalissime bottle was inspired by Dali's 1946 work, "Christmas", which made the cover of Vogue magazine in December of that year. The bottle is shaped in the form of a Corinthian pillar, and the Dalinian nose and mouth are sculpted in frosted glass, inspired by the main elements within the painting.
Dalissime: a unique fruity-floral fragrance, perfect for summer.
