Introduced in 1999, Le Feu D'Issey, second fragrance from Japanese designer Issey Miyake, is a zesty, spicy, woody fragrance contained in a spherical fireball of a bottle. Created for Miyake by Firmenich perfumers, Le Feu d'Issey embodies the energy of fire: fire as light, fire as creation, fire as a vital source of heat and knowledge, in a fragrance created for young, optimistic, modern women. |
Le Feu d'Issey is a floral-spicy-woody fragrance with a sensual personality. Its top notes introduce themselves with a fresh essence of Bulgarian rose and absolute of coriander leaf. These lively tones settle into a heart crackling with Sichuan pepper and Japanese golden lily. The base glows with the warm, sensual radiance of gaļac wood and the softness of milky amber.
The Le Feu d'Issey round, smooth bottle is fascinating, because of its play on transparencies. It's made of an avant-garde material, chosen for its purity, brilliance and resilience, and used for the first time in perfumery. The design is unique, with a "pop up" system. When the bottle is lifted, the rim drops to the top of the sphere and frees the push button.
