Introduced in 1984, Paris, by designer Yves St. Laurent, is a spirited bouquet of spring-blooming florals. St. Laurent was very sentimental about his love of Paris, and in this scent, his tribute to that grand city, he has captured all the sparkle, character, charm and delights of Paris in the spring. The exact effect St. Laurent wanted was proving hard to create, and there were many trials before a young perfumer came up with the perfect formula. Paris became the first fragrance creation of Sophia Grosjman, now one of the foremost perfumers in the world. For a nearly 20-year-old fragrance, Paris smells remarkably modern, and is enjoying a rediscovery among a new generation of wearers.
