Introduced in 1996, Poême, by Lancôme, is a sparkling, high-quality fragrance composed entirely of floral notes. This alluring essence, created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, uses poetry as an avenue to connect with thoughts and feelings. With a concept of fragrance as poetry, Poême departs from the traditional perfume structure - all the notes reply to each other throughout the body for an effervescent result. This concept of fluid poetry is carried through into the packaging, which features phrases from French poet, Paul Eluard.
